Skills Check for CPR, BLS, ACLS, & PALS.
Register Now for a Local Cincinnati Skills Session. If you have completed the first part of an American Heart Association online class, you will need to get your skills checked in order to complete your certification. Skills Checks in BLS for Healthcare Providers, ACLS, PALS, and CPR and First Aid courses. The American Heart Association requires that every student must pass an in-person, hands-on sesion with a qualified AHA instructor before receiving their 2 year certification card.
We Offer Skills Checks for the following AHA Courses.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- HeartSaver CPR and/or HeartSaver First Aid

How many days after I purchase the online part do I have to complete the Skills Session?
You have 60 days.
Will I need an AHA manual for the skills check?
No. With the purchase of an online class you are not required to have a physical AHA manual. AHA manuals are only required for all students who do not have access to online courses.
How do I schedule the Skills Session?
You can usually schedule a skills session any day we already have a similar or more advanced course occurring. Go here to check our calendar.
When do I receive my 2 year AHA card?
You will receive your card day of skills session completion.
