CPR Cincinnati is an American Heart Association training site that provides two year Basic Life Support certifications for healthcare providers. This course is also known as BLS for Healthcare Providers or sometimes called the CPR Class that is required by medical and healthcare workers. The course covers adult, infant and child CPR and AED, as well as rescue breathing, choking, etc.

Students are required to demonstrate skills that are taught in the class, as well as pass a 25 question multiple choice exam, in order to successfully achieve BLS for Healthcare Provider certification status. The skills checks that will be tested include how to give a proper chest compression at the rate and depth recommended by the American Heart Association, how to use a bag mask with a 2 team rescue unit, how to use an AED correctly, etc.
